EDGE:

• A Granton Edge or “kullenschliff” edge has hallowed out grooves (air gaps) on both sides of the blade. These grooves fill with fat and fluid which allows for thin even cuts without tearing and shredding tissue. A straight edge blade is hardened, tempered, ground, polished, etched and finished. Features: 3/4” or 7/8” tang. Knives are thicker on top, thinner and extremely sharp on the edge.

• Ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension. Nylon and patented Fibrox handles are NSF approved and slip resistant.

• Special tempering process produces an edge that can be sharpened repeatedly. The knife keeps its original sharpness throughout its life.

• Materials and construction details of the handle minimize crevices that would offer hospitality to bacteria.
• CLEANING: Fibrox and Santoprene handles are NSF approved. Sani-Safe Autopsy knives can be sanitized with all disinfectants.
